KATHMANDU, Aug 2: One prisoner at Nakkhu Jail in Lalitpur has died in a violent fight that erupted inside the prison on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Purna Bahadur Rabi. Rabi was attacked by his fellow inmate Komal Kumar Mahato with a cement block.

Rabi sustained a serious injury and breathed his last while undergoing treatment.
Rabi had been serving a jail term after he was convicted of murder. He had recently lost his mental balance.
Prison administration told Republica online that further investigation into the incident is underway.
