One infected with COVID-19, dengue dies at Seti Hospital

SUDURPASCHIM, May 4: A patient diagnosed with COVID-19 and dengue infections at the Seti Province Hospital, Dhangadi, died last night. The 30-year-old male had been on ventilator support since May 2. Before this, he underwent a nerve surgery on April 7, according to the hospital’s Information Officer Mekhraj Upadhyay.

SUDURPASCHIM, May 4: A patient diagnosed with COVID-19 and dengue infections at the Seti Province Hospital, Dhangadi, died last night. The 30-year-old male had been on ventilator support since May 2. Before this, he underwent a nerve surgery on April 7, according to the hospital’s Information Officer Mekhraj Upadhyay.


He was tested positive to COVID-19 on April 30 and to dengue after two days and was put on a ventilator.

Prior to this, a woman died of COVID-19 at the hospital's ICU on April 16.  The hospital says it has been registering an increasing number of cases of COVID-19 infection since last month.
