The silver colour plated Scorpio with Indian number plate – AS 01 W 0420 – was en route to Janakpur from Mahendranagar when it lost control and crashed in front of a flour mill in Laxminiya area in Janakpur Sub-Metropolis – 25, according to District Police Office (DPO).
In the accident, Binod Paswan, 37, of Kurtha area of Janakpur Sub-Metropolis died on the spot, police said.
The driver of the vehicle, Birendra Kumar Das, 30, from Bagewa area of Laxmipur of Janakpur is reported to be in serious condition while another passenger, Swatantra Yadav, 28, has sustained injuries to his back. RSS
