KATHMANDU, Aug 18: One person died and two others were injured when a landslide struck a church under construction in Rolpa. Among the injured, one is in critical condition.
Bharat Lama, deputy superintendent of police (DSP) at the District Police Office, Rolpa, said that Dhanjita Budhamgar, a resident of Rolpa Municipality-10 who was living in the church, died when a landslide hit the church at around 4:30 AM on Sunday.

Among those who came for prayers on Saturday, all three individuals stayed in the church. Two people were injured in the landslide. DSP Lama said that one of the injured is in normal condition and was referred to the Provincial Hospital Butwal.
Police said that another injured individual is receiving treatment at Rolpa hospital.
