JHAPA, June 8: A person died in a motorcycle accident last night in Kamal Rural Municipality-3 in Jhapa, along the East-West Highway.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Khagendra Bahadur Khadka of the District Police Office, the deceased has been identified as Puranlal Rajbanshi, an Armed Police Force sub-inspector deployed in Ilam.

The motorcycle, bearing the registration number PR 01-02-0052 Pa 7029, was traveling from Birtamod to Kerkha on the East-West Highway when it lost control and crashed.
DSP Khadka further stated that Sub Inspector Rajbanshi, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, passed away while undergoing treatment at B & C Hospital in Birtamod.
