One dead in cross fire between police and unidentified group

RAUTAHAT, June 28: One person killed in a crossfire between police and criminal group. The deceased was hit with bullets in leg and back of the body, who died on the way to District Hospital. Rabindra Jha, Head of Emergency Department, Gaur hospital confirmed his death.

RAUTAHAT, June 28: One person killed in a crossfire between police and criminal group. The deceased was hit with bullets in leg and back of the body, who died on the way to District Hospital. Rabindra Jha, Head of Emergency Department, Gaur hospital confirmed his death.


A direct confrontation between Police and criminal group of three occurred in the northside embankment of Bagmati River of Mudulwa Tole, Rajdevi Municipality.

It has been reported that the police officials fired one round of bullets while 12 round bullets were fired from the criminal group.


Police has detained SMJ firearm and bullets with it. Police were lying in wait to catch the offenders. 2 of 3 offenders who came by riding on-test motor bike have fled to India.


DSP Ram Kumar Dangi said, the number of security personnel had been increased in the site and further inquiry is going on.
