One arrested with stolen motorcycle

KATHMANDU, Sept 21: Police have arrested a person from Kathmandu along with a stolen motorcycle.


The arrested person is 27-year-old Pema Tamang, a resident of Bangthali, Kavrepalanchok Chauri Deurali Rural Municipality-1, currently living in Baudhha, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6. He was arrested by the police on Monday morning.

A motorcycle bearing the number Bagmati Pradesh 02-024 Pa 8550 parked on the side of the road at Kathmandu Balaju Bypass was stolen on August 22.


Police deployed from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Division Office Min Bhawan found him driving a stolen motorcycle with a fake number plate and arrested him. Police said that he was arrested from Nayabasti, Gokarneshwar Municipality-6.


He has been sent to police circle Balaju for further investigation and action along with the stolen motorcycle.
