One arrested for vandalizing Rastriya Banijya Bank ATM during Gen-Z protests

The arrested individual has been identified as 29-year-old Buddhiman Tamang, originally from Balefi Rural Municipality, Sindhupalchok, and currently residing in Madhyapur Thimi–7, Nagadesh.

KATHMANDU, Nov 25:  Police arrested a man for vandalizing an ATM of Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) in Bhaktapur during the recent Gen-Z protests.



The arrested individual has been identified as 29-year-old Buddhiman Tamang, originally from Balefi Rural Municipality, Sindhupalchok, and currently residing in Madhyapur Thimi–7, Nagadesh. He was taken into custody by a police team from the Bhaktapur District Police Range.

Police said the investigation confirmed that Tamang vandalized the ATM located next to the Thimi Police Circle during the protests. He has been placed in custody as further investigation continues.
