KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Police have arrested Resham Thapa on the charge of killing Top Bahadur Pun, 20, a resident of Naya Basti in Tulsipur Sub-metropolis-4 of Dang district on Monday.
According to Shyamu Aryal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Area Police Office, Tulsipur, Thapa, a resident of Gahatera of the same ward, has been arrested. He was arrested on Monday while trying to hide in a forest near his house. According to police, Binod Rana and Khim Bahadur Rana, who were involved in the incident, are still on the run. The victim’s family has filed an FIR against their name.
Police nab two for alleged involvement in Gauchan's murder
Pun was killed last Saturday night by a stick and a sharp weapon. The victim’s family have said that they will not receive the body until the killer (s) is (are) punished by the law. Pun's body has been kept at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur for autopsy.
