KATHMANDU, Sept 12: CPN-UML Chairperson and Parliamentary Party Leader KP Sharma Oli has instructed the lawmakers of his party to respect the parliamentary decorum while protesting against anything in the House.

He also said that his party would continue the obstruction in parliament as the Speaker had ‘conspiratorial involvement’ in splitting the main opposition party.

Claiming that Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota is not fit for the Speaker's post, he has instructed the party’s lawmakers to chant only the slogans specified by the party while protesting in the House. Oli gave such instructions after UML lawmakers tried to climb up to the rostrum and snatched the home minister's mic on Friday.

The UML had called a meeting of the parliamentary party on Sunday to consult the lawmakers after the incident was heavily criticized.
