Oli, Dahal discuss govt formation, party unity

KATHMANDU, Jan 19: A meeting held between the CPN (UML) chair KP Sharma Oli and CPN (Maoist Center) chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal at Oli's residence Balkot on Friday.


On the occasion, Maoist chair Dahal inquired about the health of the UML chair Oli, who returned home Thursday after undergoing a regular health check in Thailand.

Chair Dahal and Oli also talked on government formation and party unification along with national assembly election. 


According to Chair Oli's press coordinator Chetan Adhikari, the Chairs duo discussed finalizing a report prepared by the task force on the selection of national assembly candidates from the parties. 


Adhikari further shared that the chairs would sit for further discussion over the issues next day and call for a meeting of party merger committee on January 21.
