KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai has launched the official website and handles of various social media platforms of Visit Nepal Year 2020 at a program organized in the capital on Wednesday.
In a bid to disseminate all the information related to the much-waited tourism campaign, two websites designed by the secretariat of VLY 2020 have gone live from today itself. Visitors can get authentic and exclusive news and information logging onto www.visitnepal2020.gov.np and www.visitnepalnews.gov.np.
Similarly, the secretariat also unveiled the handles of different social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin.

VLY2020 can be visited on nepallifeexperiecces on Facebook, VNY2020official on Twitter, @visitnepalyear2020_official on Instagram and @visitnepal2020-secretariat on Linkedin.
National program coordinator of VNY2020 Suraj Baidhya informed that the web portal and social media pages would release all the information relating to the tourism program including news, maps, pictures, festivals, and many others.
On the occasion, Minister Bhattarai said that web portal was unveiled to expedite the preparations of VNY2020. He directed all the concerned stakeholders to publicise all the activities regarding the preparation of VLY through the website and social media platforms.
The government has announced Visit Nepal Year 2020 with a view to promoting tourism in the country by welcoming two million tourists next year.
