SIRAHA, April 22: All offices in Siraha remained closed for the eighth day on Wednesday in protest of the murder of an employee at the Organization of the Hearing Challenged.

On April 8, the Madhesi Silent Killers gunned down Gaya Prasad Yadav, an employee at the Organization of Hearing the Challenged, Siraha. The murder has thrown all office employees, including civil servants, in the district into agitation mode.
The employees are demanding that the dead be declared a martyr, his family be compensated and security of office employees be ensured.
