KATHMANDU, June 19: National Youth Federation (NYF), Nepal is organizing NYF Short Film Competition-2021 in a bid to explore and promote the young people’s talent and ensure better utilization of leisure time and creative engagement amid the ongoing prohibitory orders.
According to the organizing body, anyone interested can take part in the competition where they can create a maximum of five-minute films particularly based on entrepreneurship and employment, tourism, agriculture, industry, politics and good governance, education, health, sports, gender equality, diversity, arts, culture and entertainment.

The aspiring young movie makers are required to submit their scripts on the theme ‘I will do something’ by July 9 to office.nyfnepal@gmail.com. A panel of experts will further provide consultations to the participants for effective film making.
The top three films will be awarded Rs 250,000, Rs 150,00 and 100,000, respectively.
