KATHMANDU, April 12: The Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP) has suspended Ghanshyam Chaudhary, a member of the Sudurpaschim Province Assembly from NUP, from the party for three months.
The suspension was announced through a letter NUP Chairperson Ranjita Shrestha sent to Sudurpaschim Assembly Speaker Bhim Bahadur Bhandari on Friday.
According to the letter signed by Chairperson Shrestha, Chaudhary’s suspension is due to his repeated failure to attend meetings to discuss various party issues, despite multiple invitations.
In the letter, it is mentioned that Chaudhary was called for discussions on March 27, 28, and April 7, but he failed to attend any of these meetings.
