Speaking at a program to mark its 12th anniversary, Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Sharat Singh Bhandari said NTB should incorporate all organizations concerned for the development of tourism by keeping it far away from politics.[break]
He stressed on the need for evaluating the works performed by NTB, saying it should include all tourism organizations by establishing Nepal Tourism Council. Bhandari urged the tourism entrepreneurs to work for the promotion and preservation of the Nepali arts and cultures.
During the programme, Minister Bhandari distributed prizes to the winners of different competitions.
NTB Chairman and Secretary at Tourism Ministry Kishor Thapa said discussions should be held for the development of tourism sector by coordinating with the private sectors.
On the occasion, Prachanda Man Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of the NTB, stressed on the need for prioritizing for the tourism development as it has been one of the main basis for the economic development of the country.
