KATHMANDU, May 23: Deepak Raj Joshi, CEO of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), has been unanimously named as the president of Government Destination Board of Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA). “With this, Joshi has become the first Nepali to be appointed to the post,” NTB said in a statement issued on Monday. The PATA Annual Summit 2018 held in South Korea also awarded Lifetime Achievement Award to Basant Raj Mishra, executive chairman of Temple Tiger Group of Companies, in recognition of his 25 years of affiliation with PATA, NTB added in the statement.
