KATHMANDU, April 29; Nepal Telecom has reduced the tariff of its unlimited ADSL package.
The telecom operator has said that it would offer 5 Mbps unlimited package for Rs 700 per month. "NT's ADSL users can now surf the Internet with a connection that is five times faster, paying 30 percent less than before," the company added in the statement.

NT's Deputy Spokesperson Shobhan Adhikari told Republica that the telecommunication giant has lowered the price of data, considering the increased demand and usage of data across Nepal. “We have been modifying the packages in terms of bandwidth and price progressively. The basic ADSL package, which was launched at Rs 1,000 per month for 128 kbps speed, is now available at Rs 700 per month for 5 mbps speed," he added.
NT's unlimited ADSl pack costs Rs 3,750 for six months and Rs 7,000 for a year.
