Deuba faction students have demanded that seniority of student leaders be given due consideration while making appointment s in the disciplinary and election committees. Likewise, they have also demanded proportional appointment of central representatives for the general convention from their side.
A meeting held with the leaders of both the factions at the residence of Joshi had agreed to include two members each in the discipline and election committees from the Deuba faction. Earlier, both the factions had three members each in the two committees. “We have also agreed to form a taskforce to address the issue of seniority,” Shah added.
