NSU organizes demonstration with 150 chairs on street of Baluwatar (With Pictures)

KATHMANDU, Jan 4: The Nepal Students’ Union (NSU) has protested by placing 150 chairs on the road at Baluwatar.

Demanding political appointments be stopped in the university, the NSU protested by placing chairs on the streets. Pamphlets warning against political appointments in the university were pasted on the empty chairs. The pamphlets read, “Discourage Political Blueprints,” “Scholarly ballet, not a political foray,” “No to Political Machinations,” “Dance of Intellects; Kick Politics Off the Stage,” “No Puppet Strings, Just Scholar’ Wings,” and more.

NSU has organized a warning and awareness program against political appointments in universities. The NSU has been conducting such awareness programs in the past as well.
