KATHMANDU, May 6: The mayoral and deputy mayoral candidates of Naya Shakti Party Nepal (NSPN) and Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) alliance have vowed pollution free Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC).
Unveiling the commitment letter for the upcoming local level election, the mayoral candidate Pabitra Bajracharya and deputy mayoral candidate Sabina Aryal have announced to develop the city as pollution free.
KMC focusing on operation of electric vehicles
In the commitment paper, the duo has mentioned to progress the smart security policy along with the CCTV network within the city to develop the crime free city.
In their commitment letter, the candidates have conceptualized to develop the city as the pollution free city for the healthy life of the locals by controlling over the dust and smoke.
The parties have committed to resettle the victim of the unlawful expansion road in the past adding that the local will be provided better option including the proper compensation if they have to expand the road in the future.
Likewise, they have assured of proper parking area and have project to allocate the various specific areas for education, health, communication, settlement, administrative, diplomatic, commercial, tourism and cultural sectors among others to develop the city as a well managed city.
