NSC employees hand financial support to Shrestha's family

KATHMANDU, Jan 6: Family of deceased volleyball coach Keshab Lal Shrestha on Wednesday received Rs 232,309 collected from the employees of the National Sports Council (NSC).

The staffers of the NSC had collected the amount by donating 1.5 percentage of their one month's salary.

Choodamani Paudel, joint secretary at the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Ranjan Thapa, president of NSC Employee Association, handed over the amount to Shrestha's wife Manju Kumari. Coach Shrestha died during the April 25 earthquake.
