KATHMANDU: Three months after the New Road Team (NRT) formally declared to pull out of the A division league, ANFA has still not clarified the club´s status in Nepali football. As per the existing rule, a club automatically gets relegated if its pulls out of football for a season. [break]

"We have not received any letter about the club´s status as well as letter for participation in the upcoming election," said NRT General Secretary Binaya Pradhan.

Pradhan also opined that there is no point in participating in the election. "Everything is already set.

All 45 districts and clubs are already set in Ganesh Thapa´s favor. Besides this, players, coaches and referee associations are also in his grip. Even the executive committee is also finalized by Thapa´s consent. Why to become be a part of the drama?" Pradhan said.
