NRNA's amended statute and financial report passed

KATHMANDU, Jan 26: A special convention of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has passed its amended statute and financial report unanimously.


General-Secretary Dr Hemraj Sharma presented NRNA's annual report, Treasurer Mahesh Kumar Shrestha the financial report while Coordinator of Statute Amendment Suggestion Committee, Bhusan Ghimire, and NRNA's Vice-President Mana KC jointly presented the statute amendment proposal at the special convention.

The convention unanimously passed the NRNA's financial report of fiscal year 2017/18 and 2018/19 presented by Treasurer Shrestha.  Commitment was made to forward work execution as per the amendment proposal on the occasion. 


Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, NRNA President Kumar Panta, Chief Patron Dr Shesh Ghale, former Presidents and other patrons—Devman Hirachan, Jiba Lamichhane,  Bhaban Bhatta, and Ram Pratap Thapa, as well as office-bearers and representatives of National Coordination Council under the NRNA, and Nepali Congress leader Govinda Bhattarai were present on the occasion.
