NRB directs banks to formulate code of conduct

KATHMANDU, April 22: Nepal Rastra Bank has directed all commercial banks and financial institutions to formulate a code of conduct related to good governance and ensure its effective implementation as per the Good Governance Act.



The directive issued on Tuesday has also asked all financial institutions to introduce a good governance unit in their organizational structure and start monitoring implementation of good governance practices on monthly basis.
