KATHMANDU, April 6: As part of its efforts to expedite post-earthquake reconstruction, the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has decided to bring all central project implementation units formed at various ministries and district coordination committees under its direct supervision. 


The decision was taken as a district-level mechanism are being dissolved in the context of the country adopting federal structure.

A steering committee of NRA has approved the plan to bring the central and district level mechanisms under its jurisdiction. NRA's Chief Executive Officer Yubaraj Bhusal informed that the decision will come into effect from April 12. 


Now onward, the NRA will mobilize civil servants under the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Development. The authority has asked the government to mobilize civil servants according to its new arrangements.
