POKHARA, Feb 1: Nepal Police Club (NPC) has entered the final of the 16th edition of the Aaha Rara Gold Cup tournament underway in Pokhara.
NPC reached the final today defeating Dharan Football Club by 1-0 in the football tournament held in Pokhara. NPC will now take on with Three Star Club on February 3.
NPC routs Kakadvitta 2-0, enters semi-final
Suman Lama’s solitary goal through penalty in the 22nd minute helped NPC enter the final of the tournament.
NPC was provided the opportunity of penalty kick after Roman Limbu of Dharan knocked down Ravi Paswan of NPC in the D-Box area. Suman scored a goal capitalizing on the penalty.
DFC had to wrap up its Aaha Rara Gold Cup journey after it could not score any goals despite some golden opportunities in the semi final.
DFC had entered the semi final by defeating Tribhuvan Army Club.
