Fire at dairy destroys property worth Rs 10 million

Property worth over Rs 10 million was destroyed by fire that broke out at a dairy at Harkate of Suryodaya Municipality-6 this morning. 

Ballot boxes from all polling stations brought to respective dist HQ

Ballot boxes used during the first phase of the House of Representatives and State Assemblies elections held Sunday (November 26) in 32 districts have already been collected safely in the respective district headquarters, the Election Commission said. 

Trishuli bus plunge: death toll reaches seven, 25 hurt

Seven people died, 25 are injured and two are missing after a bus plunged into the Trishuli River today morning. Thirty four people including driver and assistant are believed to be onboard the bus.

Likewise, four people lost their lives in a jeep accident at Khandachakra Municipality-1, Kalikot. The jeep (Lu 2 Cha 2003) was heading to Surkhet from Mugu carrying nine people when it met in an accident. Those injured are undergoing treatment at Kohalpur Medical College.  

Nepali Congress candidate severely injured in bomb explosion

Nepali Congress candidate for the House of Representatives, Narayan Karki sustained serious injuries after a bomb exploded at Udayapurgadi rural municipality. Karki was en route to Nepaltar from Katari for election campaigns when a cooker bomb exploded at Danuwarbesi of Udayapurgadi at 9:30 AM. Witnesses said that three more were injured in the incident.  

SAFF unveils schedule for SAFF Women U-15 championship
