Norwegian PM appreciates Nepal

KATHMANDU, Oct 25: Prime Minister of Norway Jens Stoltenberg has appreciated Nepal’s success in decreasing the child mortality rate and improving the maternal health on its way to achieving the Millenium Development Goals (MDG).



In the letter sent to Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Stoltenberg has requested the government of Nepal to forward the report on the success and the future plans about maintaining the success to the Norwegian government. [break]



Norwegian Ambassador to Nepal, Thor Gislesen handed the letter to PM Nepal at Singha Durbar on Monday.
