Norvic introduces new operating suites
A newly launched operating Suite at Norvic Hospital.

KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Norvic International Hospital has brought a world-class Operation Theater into operation, equipped with sophisticated technology and established as per the Joint Commission International standard.

Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara inaugurated the newly built operating suites at the Norvic in Kathmandu on Wednesday. The newly-built suites has three operation theaters of European standards, pre- and post-operative wards, surgical intensive care unit (SICU), patient counseling lounge and other facilities, read a statement issued by the hospital.

“The construction materials and equipments used in this section are certified by the United States of America's Food and Drug Administration,” the statement reads. While inaugurating the new unit, Deputy Prime Minister Mahara expressed hope that the addition will make the hospital more popular in the days to come.
