North Korean envoy calls on PM

KATHMANDU, Jan 2: Ambassador of the Democratic People´s Republic of Korea, Jang Yong Chol paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on Saturday.



During the meeting, the two discussed matters of mutual interests and bilateral relations.



Ambassador Chol expressed his hope that during the leadership of PM Nepal, Nepal´s peace process and new constitution-drafting would get a logical conclusion. He said Nepal and the Democratic People´s Republic of Korea has cordial relations since a long and expected that it would grow further ahead.



PM Nepal wished for the development and prosperity of Korea and progress of the Korean people during the leadership of Kim Jong-il.
