KATHMANDU, Oct 22: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has said the petroleum supply will not be disrupted during a week-long public holidays of upcoming Tihar and Chhath.
The public holidays for Tihar and Chhath will start from Monday. Issuing a notice on Friday, the state-own oil supplier informed that it will distribute fuels from its 13 depots.
NOC has decided to open depots of Biratnagar, Amlekhgunj, Thankot, Pokhara, Bhairahawa, Surkhet, Dhangadhi, Charali, Nepalgunj, Dhanusha, Birgunj and Dipayal in certain days during the public holidays to maintain smooth supply of petroleum. Similarly, the petrol pumps will also remain open during the period, according to NOC.
