KATHMANDU, Oct 31: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the price of diesel and kerosene by one rupee per liter with effect from midnight today.
With the price adjustment, diesel will cost Rs 147.50 per category A, Rs 149 for B and Rs 150 per liter for category C. The NOC classifies Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj depots as category A, Surkhet and Dang as category B and Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal depots as category C.

The price was adjusted as per the new purchase price received from Indian Oil Corporation today, which decreased by 0.25 per liter in petrol and Rs 1.04 per liter in diesel.
