KATHMANDU, Feb 20: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has again increased the price of petroleum products.
According to the new price list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation, the state-owned NOC has increased the price of fuel with effect from 12 midnight on Saturday. The NOC had earlier hiked the prices of petroleum products three weeks ago.
The price of petrol has been increased by Rs 3 per liter to Rs 145. The price of diesel and kerosene has also been increased by Rs 3 per liter to Rs 128. The NOC has stated that the price of LPG has not been increased given the current loss of Rs 560 per cylinder. Also, the price of aviation fuel has been kept unchanged.
The prices of petrol and diesel are at a record high so far. Even when the corporation adjusted the price on February 1, the retail price was still high.
