Talking to the representatives of various organizations who reached Baluwatar to hand over relief materials on Tuesday, Prime Minister Koirala said the government will strictly monitor and keep vigil on the distribution of the hard-collected relief fund and materials.
Meanwhile, Koirala also asked one and all to inform the government about any incidents of embezzlement of relief materials, creating artificial shortage of goods and charging unreasonable prices of daily commodities at this time of crisis.
He vowed to take action against the guilty at once.
On the occasion, Kiran Chhetri, acting general manager of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) handed over a check of Rs 4,796,973 to Prime Minister Koirala on behalf of NAC.
