No neurosurgeon at BPKIHS

DHARAN, Oct 8: The BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) is without a neurosurgeon, after the hospital´s only neurosurgeon Dr Yam Bahadur Rokka resigned a month ago. It is learnt that the hospital has been asking neuro patients to visit other health institutions for treatment.



Dr Rokka was a permanent staff of the hospital and had done his MCH from NAMS, Kathmandu, after taking a three-year educational leave. Though Dr Rokka was supposed to work for five years at BPKIHS after completing his MCH, he resigned just after a year of service.
