KATHMANDU, August 3: The Nepal Oil Corporation has expressed its concern over the news disseminated by various media, claiming irregularities in the land purchase deal.
Speaking at a press meet organized here today, NOC Executive Director Gopal Bahadur Khadka said there was no truth in the suspicion raised by the parliamentary committee and the news published in the media about the alleged irregularities during the purchase of land by the NOC in Jhapa, Sarlahi, Chitwan, and Rupandehi. The land was purchased following due process, he said.
Khadka also urged the media not to make assumptions in the context when the parliamentary committee and the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority are investigating the case. RSS
