No arrest warrant: Minister Sah

KATHMANDU, Sept 27: Minister for Land Reforms and Management Prabhu Sah refuted news reports on issuance of arrest warrant.



“After the news, I contacted Home Minister, police and Constituent Assembly, but there is no arrest warrant on my name,” Sah said in a face-to-face program at the Reporters’ Club.[break]



“The news is a ploy to defame me,” he claimed.



On Tuesday, Kantipur daily published front-page news stating that police has issued an arrest warrant for his alleged involvement in a murder case.



Meanwhile, UCPN (Maoist) also refuted the report in a statement.
