KATHMANDU, Dec 1: Purna Bahadur Khadka, Vice President of Nepali Congress, has said that there is no alternative to choosing NC parliamentary party leader other than party president Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Khadka made such a remark on Thursday during his visit to Krishna Prasad Bhattarai Ashram in Bandegaon to pay homage to Bhattarai's statue.

He said that the NC and its alliance achieved good results in the recently held election under the leadership of party president Deuba and therefore the NC should not look for anyone else to lead the party. He also stressed on the need to elect the party leader unanimously.
Vice President Khadka said that it is necessary to maintain unity within the Nepali Congress during this crucial period.
