KATHMANDU, Aug 19: Nepali taekwondo player Nisha Rawal will compete in her first bout of the Rio Olympics on Saturday.
Nisha, who will compete in women's 67 kg plus weight category will vie with Zheng Shuyin at Carioca Arena.
She is scheduled to compete at 19:45 NST.
Nisha, a wild card entry from Nepal has set her eyes on winning at least a bout in the global sports meet which none of her predecessor has achieved so far.
The 20-year old Nisha is the national champion in her weight category.
Her opponent Zheng, 22, is the bronze medalist of the recently held Asian Championship.
Similarly, she was the gold winner of the 2015 World Military Championship.
