KATHMANDU, March 25: Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited (KUKL) is going to distribute Melamchi's drinking water to Suryabinayak Municipality area as well.
In order to reduce the acute shortage of drinking water in the Suryabinayak municipality area, an agreement has been signed between KUKL and the municipality to distribute water from the Melamchi water reserve tank in Pandubazar.
An agreement to this effect was reached by Mayor Basudev Thapa and Deputy Mayor Sarita Timilsina Bhattarai on behalf of the municipality and Deputy Executive Officer Gyanendra Bahadur Karki and Head of Water Supply Operation Division Ramesh KC on behalf of KUKL on Friday.
