Police raided a house owned by Maya Rai and arrested Chhiwahang Rai, Gyan Bahadur Tamang, Janak Tamang, Madhu Thapa, Kumar Thakuri and Mohan Ser Rai including others, according to the District Police Office. Rs.40,960 and 16 kauras were also seized from them, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Manoj Yadav.
Meanwhile, a police patrol team held two persons along with a loaded gun from Pugma Danda of Mainamaini- 2 of the district on Friday afternoon. The arrestees are locals Janak Rai (18) and Jan Bahadur Rai (17), according to the police.
