KATHMANDU, Nov 13: The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested nine people from different places in Kathmandu along with various illicit drugs including brown heroin.

Among the arrested are Prayas Thapa, 23, of Rapti Municipality-1, Dang, Sagar Shahi, 23, of Achham Panchadev Binayak Municipality-4, Binod Nath Yogi, 22, of Bardiya Garuwa Rural Municipality-1 and Gautam KC, 32, of Balefi Rural Municipality-4, Sindhupalchok.

Similarly, Mijam Tamang, 25, of Morang, currently living in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu, Shusil Shrestha of Dhulikhel, Mide Sherpa of Bhojpur, Randeep Thapa alias Dipu of Bardiya in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-10 and Shirish Khatri, 26, of the same place are also among those arrested.

Police also recovered 100 mg brown sugar from Thapa, 28 grams from Shahi, 500 mg from KC, 4 grams 500 mg from Tamang, 22 grams of gray heroin from Sherpa along with measuring scales and millions of rupees. According to the Drug Control Bureau, Koteshwar, further investigation is underway.
