KATHMANDU, Dec 14: Bimalendra Nidhi, one of the five contestants for the post of Nepali Congress president in the first round of elections held for the post, has appealed to the party representatives to vote for Prime Minister and incumbent NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Issuing a statement on Tuesday, he requested the delegates who supported him in the first round of elections to vote for Deuba in the second round. He said in the statement that he had accepted Deuba's request and decided to support him.
