KATHMANDU, Feb 13: NIC Asia Bank has organized a tree plantation program in Purwanchal Engineering Campus (PEC) premises in Dharan.
Champus Chief Jitendra Chaudhary inaugurated the program which was organized as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives of NIC Asia Bank, according to a statement issued by the bank.
“The bank has taken up a CSR project to plant more than 7,000 saplings in the current fiscal year,” it said. On the occasion, PEC and NIC Asia Bank also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which authorizes the bank to use PEC premises for plantation.
The bank will plant 1,000 saplings in the area provided by PEC, the statement added.
