NHRC launches human rights hotline

KATHMANDU, Jan 28: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has launched a “Human Rights Hotline” in order to protect and promote human rights more effectively, said a statement issued by the NHRC Wednesday.

The statement said victims of human rights violations or stakeholders can directly register the complaints related to such violations and abuses through the hotline number: “2-11-11-11 (two-eleven-eleven-eleven)".


“NHRC cordially requests all the stakeholders including political parties, government agencies, NGOs/CBOs, civil society, media persons to inform NHRC about the cases of human rights violations and abuses as they happen,” said the statement.
