KATHMANDU,  Aug 1: Newly appointed justices at the Supreme Court (SC) have assumed their office Monday after taking the oath of office and secrecy. 

They have begun their works after taking charge of the office, said SC joint spokesman Bishwaraj Poudel. 

The newly appointed Supreme Court justices are Deepak Kumar Karki, Kedar Prasad Chalise, Sharada Prasad Ghimire, Mira Khadka, Bishwambar Prasad Shrestha, Ishwar Prasad Khatiwada, Dr Ananda Mohan Bhattarai, Hari Krishna Karki, Anil Kumar Sinha, Prakash Man Singh Raut and Sapana Pradhan Malla.
