In response to the demand, Prime Minister Nepal expressed his commitment to announce holiday on the day.
The team led by Dabu chairman Naresh Tamrakar submitted a memorandum demanding that Nepal Sambat’s date be incorporated in the calendar published by the government and to include Nepal Sambat in Nepalse currency.
