SijanNeupane, assistant manager of marketing division at Agni Incorporated, said the new version of XUV500 has new features in exterior and interior styling. “The XUV500 is been doing brisk business in the international market,” Neupane told Republica, adding, “We expect the new XUV500 to perform well here too."
Neupane said the new XUV500 will cost between Rs 5.5 million and Rs 6.5 million in Nepal depending on the value of US dollar.
According to the company, the new XUV500 comes with a stylish front grille with chrome inserts and new projector headlamps. Likewise, the vehicle incorporates new bonnet, bold bumper, new fog lamps and features 10-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels. "The face-lifted version also features electric sunroof, key-less entry/push-start button, six-way power adjustable driver seat, tone black and beige interior, and beige leather seats," the company said in a statement.
The new SUV will be powered by 2.2-litre four-cylinder mHawk diesel engine that generates a power of 140 bhp at 3,750 rpm and a peak torque of 330 Nm at 1,600-2,800 rpm. It weighs 2,510 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 70 liters.
Agni Incorporated is bringing four different variants -- XUV500 W4, XUV500 W6, XUV50 W8 and XUV500 W10 -- in Nepal. The SUV comes in seven different color options.
