KATHMANDU, Sept 25: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, a part of Mahindra Group, has announced the launch of 'Mahindra Adventure' -- a unique experiential marketing initiatives in Nepal, along with the flag off of Summit Drive-2018 to the Everest Base Camp, the automobile maker said in a statement on Monday.

The 'Mahindra Adventure' will begin from the upcoming Rara expedition that is being organized in association with Imagine Nepal and Great Escape. "The initiative will be led by Agni Incorporated Ltd Nepal under the guidance of the experts from 'Mahindra Adventure'," the company added in the statement.
According to the statement, the occasion marked the flag off, of the Summit Drive, with a convoy of 29 vehicles consisting of the Mahindra Scorpio, the XUV500 and the Scorpio Getaway to the northern base camp of Mount Everest in Tibet, China. "Once the bucket list item is ticked, the convoy will drive through the 'roof of the world' to the forbidden city of Lhasa -- home of the Potala Palace and numerous monasteries. The convoy will be back to Kathmandu on October 4 covering 3,000 km," it added.
